This handmade Trailer bird house is a cute, colourful and fully functional bird house, an enhanced version of the original design by PA1. It weighs in at 1.5 lbs, is 9.0″ wide x 6.5″ deep x 10.0″ high. It comes ready to hang. I have other Etsy ads displaying other Toon House colors and other bird house models.

Staying true to PA1’s digital design and working with Wild Birds Unlimited the 3D Creations Toon House is 3D printed with the following enhancements:
· Five upper vents provide ventilation for summer and winter seasons
· Large drainage holes in the bird house floor help reduce any build up of mould in the house
· Tight fitting opening to prevent predator removal, also, an optional steel entrance plate to prevent squirrels moving in
· Double wall design with air space for insulation
· 1.25” (32mm) opening suitable for smaller birds i.e. Wrens and Chickadees, optional opening sizes are available.
· Reduced front deck to deter predators from accessing the nest
· Removable bottom clean-out door fastened with 5 stainless steel screws
· Woven wire cable, crimped ends and crimp-able synch provide a secure hanging mounting option
· Options to post or fence mount using standard mounting hardware (at Wild Birds Unlimited)
All of this is done without detracting from the beautiful PA1 design.

The Toon House bird house is made from PETG plastic for all season weather resistance:
· Very durable for all season use. Wintering birds need homes in the winter which can also be used for raising their young
· UV resistant to remain strong and colourfast – brilliant, glossy colours that hold for years
· Non-toxic, environmentally friendly and recyclable (in some areas)

Some customers purchase their Toon House as a garden decoration, not intending to have birds move in, just to brighten up their space. An optional, colour matched, sealed opening is available, as is the squirrel-proof opening.

If you wish to welcome birds it is recommended that you install your bird house as soon as possible to ensure it is weathered and ready early for spring. Placing some natural bedding material into the house through the opening can help birds understand that this is a cute but ready to move-in house. Once birds have moved in they may choose to winter or return each year.
